Description:  Eastbound SP cab hop approaches one of the bridges over Caliente Creek that had been damaged by Spring flooding just a few months earlier. SP 4005 is a C-40-4 class car built by Pacific Car & Foundry in 1961, and modernized in 1974 by the removal of end ladders and roofwalks.
