Pulling up from the horseshoe curve at Cable, this Santa Fe eastbound has just a couple more miles to go to reach the summit at Tehachapi. Not sure what the SP tunnel motor was doing in the consist; SP and ATSF rarely mixed their power together. ATSF 2847 was later BNSF 2547, one of just a handful of GP35s to receive H1 paint.
