Title: |
UP 3720 |
Description: |
A loaded UP coal train descends the north track from Summit with the Victorville helpers on the rear for extra dynamic braking, as an SP train on the Palmdale cutoff drops down the same grade in the background. Interestingly, by timetable direction, the SP train is eastbound, the UP is westbound! UP 3720 was later Trona 2008. Date of photo approximate. |
