SCL 1154 Editors Pick!
SCL train 185 was the Tampa to St. Petersburg "through" freight. Lots of business in 1973 compared to the few cars that today's CSX train O701 normally handles. Date approximate.

jeff van cleve General Down in your stoping grounds Mike. I like the Alcos which makes this an excellent shot. I see that it's in the A.M. but I'm guessing it's warming up quickly 2/20/2012 9:17:19 PM
Bob "RCA" Anderson General Mike this is a classic. Never saw SCL - but I remember Alco 244's barking on many other roads - FAs and RSs. This one really needs to be in Class Trains! 1/10/2016 4:39:29 PM
Robert Anderson General Agree with above. Just a superb shot. The whole album is good. 10/23/2018 12:38:52 AM
