Santa Fe eastbound eases through Sandcut behind "valley power" (four axle EMDs). ATSF 2959 was rebuilt to GP35u 1/79 from GP35 ATSF 3459, nee-ATSF 1459. Later became BNSF 2595. Date of photo approximate.
